Interview with Thamarai.com
June 17th, 2011 | By admin
Thamarai.com was kind enough to feature an interview with me on their site.
“Shankar Tucker‘s YouTube videos appear to be the latest phenomenon to hit the Internet, and his most recent upload – a cover of Tamil song “Munbe Vaa” with vocals by the Iyer Sisters – has already had over a quarter of a million views in two weeks. Though primarily a clarinet player himself, Shankar’s music encapsulates the essence of Indian classical music, fused with hints of Western Jazz. Kavya Rajagopalan from Thamarai.com got in touch with him to find out more.”

Congrats on this interview! This is amazing!!! You are going to reach great heights one day. Your music is divine.
It was great to read this Interview – know you better as a person. I read somewhere… I think it’s from Inkheart (by Cornelia Funke)… people seldom remember the names of authors of a book but only remember what the book is all about, but I feel the creator is important too. I’ll sure you’ll be remembered affectionately just like your work.
Absolutly amazing. Each singer has rendered his / her best. I am expectantly looking forward to more videos. The music is truly divine and soul strring. I am in bliss everytime i hear it. God bless.
